There are plenty of deputy services that buy stuff for you, with some added service fees. Lots cheaper than travelling to Japan...

But even so, it seems to be sold out everywhere so it's not like you can just walk into a store and buy it. You'll have to watch out for auctions of it.

They often go for much more than that at auctions. Rarity and lack of scans also drives up the price (because people have to buy it if they want to see it then).

And that high price then stops people from destroying their copy for a good scan. It's a vicious cycle.

The worst part though is that the original artist doesn't even benefit from any of that...

I've never used them, but there are many proxy/deputy services. For a fee they will bid on auctions for you and then receive and forward the item. Or for items available at stores they just buy and forward it.

Just google "japanese deputy service". Note that you'll generally have to pay in advance so check around to see if a service is reliable.

I found this on winny now. Maybe someone did scan it, though the resolution is rather poor and it's downloading very slowly, only got half a page after almsot a day now.
