Gasp An amateur? Posting art on RShimg? THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE. WE MUST CRUCIFY HIM FOR DESECRATING OUR HOLY LAND OF PORNOGRAPHY.

Yeah, I drew this last night. I suddenly had an impulse to draw panizuri, and I had never seen any Patricia hentai, so I decided to give it a try. It's not great, I will say. I just draw whenever I get a good idea in my head or when I feel like it.

In before shitstorm.

And here's another thing I drew. Some Ayano/Misao yuri. Sorry about the eye on Ayano. I made my pencil strokes too hard, and then erased it.

Indeed. My scanner is shit, but it works.

Anyway, new content (LOL), as well as new perspectives. First is Hiyori, being used as...A reference. Not all that pleased with this one. And my scanner didn't pick up the end of the image, so the pencil got cut off.

Quick Yutaka sketch. I liked how I did my proportions, but other than that, meh. I didn't pay that much attention to the anonymous man's body, so that didn't really come out as I had hoped it would.

well, for your scanner problem, you can still use levels for making the art "darker" if you have photoshop (control+L)

only problem is that it makes also mistakes more apparent

quick Patty trash for the exemple, and because i think I'm in love with her

PROTIP: Most art critics are not artists themselves, and likely wouldn't know how to draw half-decent if it bit them in the ass.

Not to mention I have so much more respect for the person who has the balls to at least TRY to draw something and continues to do so despite getting constantly flamed and saged into oblivion, rather than some fat fuck who has likely never picked up a pencil and eraser in his life, and instead decides to sit and tell others what a ''quality picture'' is. I'm guessing you fall into the latter category.

And my opening message included the whole ''Crucify him'' bit because I KNEW trolls like you would show up and tell me that i'm good for nothing. I'm sure that the artistic world would be a much better place if the person who at least put some effort into trying to make a good image got, I don't know, some props for it?

tl;dr: Either post something yourself or stop telling me i'm good for nothing, because i'll bet your art is good for nothing as well, by your standards.

>> No.1964

You know what? Every asian anime/manga artist have STARTED from something. No one is master from begining. Maybe they drew cats with only two legs, maybe something else. But the point is, everybody can't do everything. Would you stop eating if someone says you make funny noise when you are biting the food? No. Because you WANT to eat. And this artist wants to draw. So what's the problem if you think this a little while? Nothing. We'd like to see how YOU draw something and how YOU are enough brave to put the to internet.

>> No.1965

>>1945
This one goes the same. Draw a better yourself.

>> No.1969

Art is subjective.

Rules (provided there are some ?) don't forbid oekaki.

This board is for Lucky Star hentai pictures, not for random sandbox fights or weird-looking Sailor Moon art.

You both fail for having a massive ego and not being able to provide beansworthy arguments. But at least Kuroi posted something that fits here.

Don't wish for a thread to be deleted just because you made yourself look like a moron in it, it would have been anonymodded away long ago if it was utter crap...

>> No.1974

>>1966

I was considering deletion when it was first posted. Now that you've shown your vast pretentiousness and asshattery here, I am forced to leave it showing for all eternity.

In case you haven't noticed, it's not you who makes the rules about what can or can not be posted here. If amateur art offends you this greatly and you're not just a troll, maybe you should just leave.

If you're a troll, I give you 8/10.

>> No.1975

>>1974
No troll here, just passionate about quality.

Do you know how many portfolios I receive with bad anime art? And these are from adults who have weird confidence because somebody keeps telling them to do it or nobody is telling them not to.

I've never seen stuff this bad posted on a board like this, I was more confused that it was still here. I mean really.... they don't even LOOK right.

Get mad at me all you want. I backed up my claims. Maybe I spend too much time in the real world where people need to be put in their place in order to survive. The corporate art world is brutal.

But this isn't the corporate art world and I will apologize for that, but through common sense and the average of postings on boards like this it can easily be deducted that stuff like this doesn't belong here. That's all I was really saying.

tl;dr, sage, STFU, etc. etc.

>> No.1976

Just because someone (such as me) can't draw, doesn't mean we can't criticise.

This argument always seems to happen with anime art. Fucking insecure artists.

Doing photography I have to deal with lots of criticism from people who either know photography or don't. You don't have to know how to operate an SLR camera to know if a picture is under/overexposed.

>> No.1977

>>1975
You're the one who's getting trolled here. These are not "amateur art". They're just some shoddy scribbles. The OP just drew that in seconds and then he's trolling on those who comes to criticize it.

Sadly only in America Art is more subjective, were I'm from art is art express whether it's good or bad mr.art critize man. It's the thought that counts not the skill not the talent.

You are right the drawings are terrible the scribbling is piss poor like some twisted perversion, but who knows could be a kid just trying to share his image posts amongst us.

I don't want to brag but I am a Artist/Freelancer I do side skills as well, so I know what you mean about critsim it's very brutal if your defence on your work is really weak and you drop to your knees in shame knowing you need more pratice, but still this is a image board hell for all we know maybe he's an extrodinary artist anime maybe his weak points.

To some people's despair, no, I didn't quit, and I likely never will. In fact, i've spent a good amount of time practicing sexual positions in the past month.

Anyway, I figured i'd not only draw Cousin Yui this time around...But i'd also try and color it. About a year or so ago, I remember a more-experienced artist tell me ''A good coloring/shading job can make a good picture great, but even the best coloring/shading job can't save a mediocre picture''. This is something I really applied to drawing this, and I spent a good 4 days on the Paintshop Pro aspect of it (I sketched the image the day before Thanksgiving). As for the scenario, I tried using a pose from an H-Doujin I read, and the end result...Is something I am very satisfied with. Regardless, I do my shading/lighting aspects with an air brush, but PSP9 has no blur effect from what I see, so they look somewhat jagged in my opinion (Plus i've never had a steady hand).

But anyway, i'll probably be drawing plenty for Christmas (And maybe a little treat for my birthday, who knows?).

Saw it on /ic/. If you're really interested in improving you'll work from life and/or books until you're intimately familiar with the human form. Take it from someone who's been there, copying out of doujins is no substitute for fundamentals and no way to learn.

Also, you might want to hold off on coloring until your lineart is good enough to support the colorwork. This is from experience as well.

I am no artist, but what looks totally wrong here is the location where Yui blushes.

The rest looks very decent if not good, really.

the bodie's look flat and have no curves or edges to them, thats the major flaw to your design; otherwise, not bad overall

Sorry man, but your scanner does not "work" if this is the outcome. It's very hard to see anything at all...
Yui is better, of course, but one tip: blush goes on the cheeks.
One good way to do this is to practice from photos, but change the face/hair into the character you want to draw. This way, you get both needed practice and fanart in the same time. Yay!

In anime blush typically goes across the bridge of the nose/where the nose would be if it weren't anime, doesn't it?

Yeah, I guess... But it depends. Still looks better on the cheeks though, especially if the subject has no nose.
