I'm hoping it'll either be an adaptation of one of the novels (the murder mystery one would be awesome), something focused on yu, minami, patty & hiyori, some sort of semi-focus on characters that were missed/neglected from the manga/games (Kō Yasaka from the Anime Research Club, Yamato Nagamori from the PS2 game, Hikaru Sakuraba the biology teacher, Fuyuki Amahara the school nurse, Hinata&Hikage Miyakawa from the doujin shop, even more focus on the characters families) or something.. I'd rather it not be so much like the original episodes if possible because the OVA gives them the opportunity to branch out with it a little more.

According to most blogs posts I've read, seems the OVA will revolve around the relationship between Anime Tenchou & Konata.

'Lucky Star OVA may have been delayed from its previous release date of August 30, all the way to September 26, according to unofficial reports. The change has shown up in several different shops, so it can likely be taken as genuine. There is no official statement on why at this time, so we’ll just have to speculate wildly.'
